Today was my last day to have kids on campus! We only had them for a half a day (which I think is pointless). We went to watch all of the kids load up for the summer. That was the best part. There were many kids that were so excited they could hardly sit still and then there were those kids that we sad and crying. It truly broke my heart to see or hear of those kids being so upset about having to go home for the summer. BUT if you think about it, they are going home and may not get to see any of their friends, they might not get to do anything fun, and they may just not have a very good home life in general. For some of those kids the teacher's were more like parents. With this in mind we have A LOT of fun at the end of the year. If the kids reach their AR goals we have water slide day! (I had a blast last year, but was informed I was not allowed to climb on any slides this year).
On a sad note, as all of the teachers were checking out of school today....(not to return until end of August)...Kristin and I thought about how we had to be back at work on Monday! I have to work until the 19th! Pretty much I'm going to be packing a room and trying to make the packing a very LONG process so I don't have to do anything else. I'm sure by the end of these next two weeks I will def be ready to relax until Carson comes.
OH YEA!! I had a surprise baby shower at work on Tuesday. All of the Special Ed girls that I work with and for told me we were having our end of the year lunch so we could all get together one last time before everyone left, BUT it was my shower. Let me just tell you that I have never had a surprise party....I was SO excited and surprised as well!! It was a lot of fun and I'm so thankful to all of them for doing that for Carson and I.
One more thing, if one more person tells me how big I am and that there is no way that I'm going to make it to my due date I might scream or better yet they might get knocked out. I don't mind the whole not making it to my due date....believe me I would rather NOT make it to my due date. BUT I can't stand when people are shocked at how big I am. I feel like this growth spurt has just happened. I think that Carson is going to be a very big boy! Hopefully not too big!!

Memorial Day Weekend!
First let me catch you up on my sugar tests. I had to have a 3 hour test done. For those of you that don't know about this test let me fill you in. I had to go in first thing in the morning bc you have to be fasting.....then they take your blood before you drink the glucose stuff, after you do that you have to sit there for 3 hours and they take your blood 3 more times on the hour! I had to have all of the blood taken from my left arm. This was how I spent my day on Friday.
On Saturday Zack and I went to Houston for our old neighbor's little boy's first birthday. He is adorable! I hadn't seen him since August, needless to say he is a lot bigger and practically running from place to place. It really started to set in this weekend that we are going to have a little boy and it will be HIS first birthday before we know it. We stayed Saturday night and headed back home on Sunday. Sunday was pretty lazy. We didn't get home until that evening so we just went to bed. Monday we went to my parents house and swam all day. I decided hat I didn't want to wear my maternity swimsuit and pulled out one of my bikinis. I figured it was just me, Zack and my little sister. No one would mind the belly. I need to take a picture of myself I really haven't taken any since my sister took some over a month ago. I never knew that my stomach could get SO big!
I'm really starting to worry about the whole house hunting thing. We are still waiting to hear about a house that we stumbled across. It hasn't even been put on the market. It is totally true about the whole nesting thing too. I'm really wanting to be settled and get Carson's room ready. We have all of his furniture, but it's in boxes. I want to paint and hang his wall letters and put his bed together.....please keep us in your prayers about the house thing. We have to move out of our Duplex July 9th.

Sugar Blues!
I went to the Doctor again today. I'm down to going every two weeks! I made sure that this time I didn't eat anything sweet today. All I drank was water.....I just knew my sugar was going to be okay! She came in the room and started talking to me about things then she asked me what I had eaten today...my sugar was 2+ AGAIN!! Last time we decided that the 3 oreos I had eaten after lunch was to blame, but this time I REALLY didn't eat anything sweet. I was due for my glucose test by this time anyways, so tomorrow I'm going in first thing in the morning to do it. I'm really trying not to eat anything sweet tonight just to make sure. I really hope that I don't have to do the second glucose test. Hopefully my results tomorrow will be perfect and I won't have to worry about this anymore. I gained a pound over the last two weeks!! I was quite impressed. I think it's normal to gain a pound a week from now on. I just didn't want to see a huge jump like it was last month! I gained 7 pounds in one month! That was almost half of my total weight that I have gained.
On another note, this little boy is the most active thing in the world. It feels like he is stretching every limb out at once and it looks really funny as well. Zack and I just lay in bed and night and feel him tossing around in there and laughing at how weird it actually looks when you just watch my stomach. Those are my favorite times right now! I'm really starting to have some back problems and I'm hoping that they will just plateau out right here. I have ANOTHER cold! It's those nasty nose kids that I work with everyday! I'm hoping I can get rid of it before this weekend! We are going to Houston to see our old neighbors and their little boy. He is turning 1! I can't believe it.
I am going to work on making my blog a little prettier! I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet. SO, other than another cold and some sugar problems we are doing GREAT!

Neighbors
Zack and I have the most annoying neighbors in the world....we have tried and tried to be nice to these people and things really hit the fan last night. We live in a Duplex...it's not tiny, but it's not huge either. It is certainly not big enough to have SIX dogs....yes you read that right, they have 6 dogs. I'm not talking little dogs either. They have 5 large dogs and one small dog. These people work 10-12 hour days and the dogs are put in crates for those long hours. When they get home the throw them all outside because lets be honest who would actually want to deal with 6 dogs inside. These dogs BARK from the time they step out the door until they bring them in. Last night, Zack and I got home around 7:00. The dogs were barking when we got home and around 9:15 Zack got out of bed and put his clothes on and was off to discuss this problem with our neighbors. (Mind you these dogs had been barking for OVER 2 hours). Zack went next door and confronted our neighbor about it. Zack explained that we were trying to go to bed and the dogs had been barking for over 2 hours. The guy that lives there looked away for a second and then looked back at Zack and said "Oh well" and shut the door in Zack's face. Zack is not the calmest person in the world, but he came home and got on the phone with our landlord, of course no one answered, but he left a message. Now here is the crazy thing....both of these people that live by us are employees of PETSMART. Can you believe that someone who works at a place like PETSMART would neglect animals the way that they do. These dogs are not too skinny, but they have absolutely no human contact. I didn't realize that you got dogs just ignore them. That is pretty much what they do. They have "rescued" several of the dogs that they have, but are they really being rescued when you keep them in a crate ALL day? This morning we talked to the people who own the duplex and explained everything to them. They have assured us that they would take care of the problem. I'm really hoping that these people will do what they are suppose to do. I can totally see them just taking 3 of the dogs somewhere for a little bit and then bringing them back. IF this is the case, I have no problem turning them in again.
On a side note....about 2 weeks ago Zack came home and saw that our neighbors front door was wide open. He then spotted one of their dogs running down the street. He could have just come inside and not thought twice about it, but he called our neighbors at work (he had to call 4 times before they would answer) and told them about it and assured them that he would stay with the dog that was out until they got home. (The dog that got out wouldn't let Zack anywhere near her, she was growling and jumping at him). This just goes to show that these dogs have NO social skills towards humans. I really hope that we can figure our loan stuff and buy a house soon. These people are going to give me high blood pressure!
